The project aims to operate the emergency health services system at Yaffa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah as an urgent health intervention during the ongoing war.
It includes running the emergency departments during both morning and evening shifts to ensure the reception and treatment of critical, life-threatening cases.
The project serves approximately 5,749 emergency cases per month, including 3,647 cases during the morning shift and 2,102 cases during the evening shift.
This intervention has significantly enhanced the hospital’s capacity and improved its ability to respond to urgent medical needs during the crisis.
