President of Senabil Foundation Visits Al-Azhar Institute at the Conclusion of Al-Azhar Secondary School Oral Examinations Gaza – The President of Senabil Foundation in Palestine, Mr. Bassam Al-Batta, paid a visit to the Al-Azhar Institute on the occasion of the conclusion of the oral examinations for the Al-Azhar General Secondary Certificate, as part of the Foundation’s commitment to supporting the educational process and strengthening partnerships with academic and religious institutions. Mr. Al-Batta was received by Dr. Ali Al-Najjar, Dean of Al-Azhar Institutes in the Gaza Strip, and Mr. Raafat Al-Qudra, Director General of Palestine TV. They welcomed the visit, noting that it reflects continued attention to students and education amid the difficult circumstances facing the Gaza Strip. During the visit, the President of Senabil Foundation reviewed the examination process and the accompanying organizational arrangements, commending the significant efforts exerted by the administration of Al-Azhar Institutes and the educational staff to ensure the success of the examinations. Senabil Foundation for Youth and Development welcomed an official delegation from Palestine University in a visit aimed at exploring opportunities for joint cooperation and strengthening institutional partnership in academic, community, and development fields. The delegation included Engineer Emad Al-Agha, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Palestine University, and Dr. Enas Abu Shawish, Head of the Public Relations Department. The meeting discussed potential areas of cooperation that serve youth and the local community and support educational and development initiatives. Both parties emphasized the importance of collaboration between academic institutions and civil society organizations to enhance the impact of joint programs and projects and to open new horizons for future cooperation.
Senabil Foundation for Youth and Development organized a special ceremony to honor the outstanding students from the 2006/2007 batch of Senabil Schools, despite the challenging circumstances in the Gaza Strip. The celebration recognized the exceptional achievements of this batch and reflected the foundation’s commitment to supporting students and encouraging them to continue their educational journey with determination and ambition. The event featured various recognition activities and special performances with the participation of students and their families, creating an atmosphere filled with pride and joy. Senabil Foundation for Youth and Development, in coordination with the Government Operations Room, carried out a field inspection tour to assess urgent intervention plans aimed at addressing the harsh winter conditions, alleviating the suffering of affected families, and ensuring that their essential needs are met with dignity and safety. This visit comes as part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the most affected families across the Gaza Strip and to enhance emergency response during the winter season.
In cooperation between Senabil Foundation for Youth & Development and Ibn Khaldoun College, and in partnership with the Indonesian University, the final exam of the first book of the English Language Levels Course was held on Friday, November 21, at 9:30 AM, with 139 students sitting for the exam. The college, along with the Indonesian University, emphasized the importance of students having official ID cards with their assigned seat numbers, and the need to successfully pass the exam to advance to Level Two. Senabil Foundation, in cooperation with the administration of Ibn Khaldoun College, supervised the exam process, providing a suitable environment, monitoring staff, and a media team to document the exam activities. We wish all our students success and qualification for the second level, leading them toward obtaining the international English language levels certificate.
The UNICEF Health Awareness and Education Team conducted a field visit to Senabil School with the aim of enhancing students’ health awareness during the ongoing emergency conditions in the Gaza Strip. The visit focused on delivering key messages about disease prevention, the importance of personal and public hygiene, and raising awareness about the dangers of approaching explosive remnants of war or any suspicious objects to ensure students’ safety. The team also led interactive sessions and educational activities designed to equip students with essential knowledge to help them safely navigate their surroundings inside and outside the school. This visit comes as part of UNICEF’s continuous efforts to support children’s health and safety.
